Privacy Policy

HearTrackerr ("the App") is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
1. Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
- Battery log entries (start dates, end dates, duration)
- Battery pack inventory records
- Issue log entries (notes about defective or unusual batteries)
- Hearing aid device information you enter (name, model, side)
- App preferences and settings
All of this data remains on your device and syncs only via your personal iCloud account if enabled. It is not transmitted to any third-party server.
2. iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled, the App may sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is not accessible to the developer or any third party. You can disable iCloud sync in your device's Settings.
3. Data That Leaves Your Device
Other than optional iCloud sync (described above), no data leaves your device. The App does not send analytics, telemetry, or any information to external servers.
4. Notifications
The App may request permission to send local notifications (e.g., battery replacement reminders). These notifications are:
- Scheduled and delivered entirely on your device
- Not routed through any external push notification service
- Completely optional — you can deny or revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no data leaves the device (except via your own iCloud), there is nothing to collect.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
