Why I Built This

I'm deaf. I've worn hearing aids my entire life, and for years I dealt with the same frustrating problem — batteries dying at the worst possible moment. In the middle of a conversation, during a class, at work. Every time, it was the same scramble: do I have a spare? When did I last change these? How long do they usually last?

I looked for an app that could help me keep track. Something simple that would just tell me when my batteries were likely to go, and whether I had enough spares on hand. I couldn't find one that worked the way I needed it to — so I built my own.

HearTrackerr isn't made by a big company guessing what hearing-aid users might want. It's made by someone who actually depends on hearing aids every single day. Every feature exists because I needed it myself.
